Hospital Flowers in Australia

A friend, relative or colleague is a patient and you cannot get there in person. Choose their hospital from the list below, and a florist in that area puts the arrangement together and brings it to the front desk for staff to pass on. Before you pay, give the ward a quick ring. Intensive care and some other units do not accept flowers, and certain wards prefer low-pollen blooms.

A Few Things Worth Knowing Before You Send

Hospital rules differ from state to state and ward to ward, so the safest plan is to send flowers that are easy to manage: a compact vase arrangement, nothing heavily scented, nothing that sheds pollen onto a bedside table. Our hospital flower guide goes through what suits maternity, surgical and long-stay wards, and the other guides cover care and meaning.

If you would like to know what a particular stem looks like, browse the flower A to Z. The FAQ answers common ordering questions, and anything unusual can go through the contact page. Sending to a home address instead of a ward? Pick the town on the send flowers page.
